The game's not fun enough to forgive them.As you might notice, the game immediately screams mobile port; honestly, it's not necessarily a bad port, but we all know how mobile ports are in general. Playing the game with the mouse goes better than one might expect, it's quite clear that it'd be much easier with touch controls, unless they did some adjustment like letting your mouse 'wrap around' the screen. The game balance\/difficulty jumps around like a wild cuckoo for a while, but it's quite manageable... until the last few levels. The whole dynamic change, introducing enemies that can defeat you in one hit, creatures that block your spells completely and enemies that prevents you from using gems from your grid... by themselves they'd be fine but the game revolves around surviving for about 3-6 mins with ever increasing monster spawns. By the way, there are spells you're just never ever gonnna use. Even after spending stars to upgrade them, they'll be way less useful than your starting basic elements spells. Then there is that one dynamite challenge level where you gotta get a lot of high value gems on your grid while 'defusing' bomb gems, all of this under a ridiculously small amount of time. I can't remember how many times I've had to try before succeeding. I didn't even feel satisfaction after completing it. There's a lack of information across the game. I would have wanted more detailled descriptions for each spells (damage dealt, scaling, debuff effectiveness), enemies, challenge 'objectives' and achievements. There's an achievement for completing the game (that is, completing the last level's challenge) with exactly 12 battle count, but it isn't described as such, that achievement is completely unfun and oh so easy to screw up. Any level that you start that last more than ~16 seconds, is considered a battle count, so you'd have to do all levels without failing. There are 'characters' and 'equipments' you can unlock and upgrade and they supposedly each work better on a specific stage... I would have scrapped that mechanic completely, ugh, it screams mobile port trash and it felt out of place with the whole game. The game has two difficulty settings, Standard and 'Veteran', and there's no way to switch from one difficulty to another, so you'll have to start from scratch on another save slot. Oh by the wya, the stupid 'rush' achievement, that forces you to finish the game with 12 battle counts also has a veteran version. No fun there. I hate this game.TLDR: A "Just decent" mobile port that could have went good but it's just too annoyingly frustrating to complete.. I like how the game was developed. Great puzzle game, however , way TOO HARD! Its unfortunate because this has some real potential. Since I bought it for 99c I wasn't too upset, but I can't finish it. Sad..... Fluid, original and deep gameplay mechanics. The design make it feels like it's a casual game, but it really isn't.\\The leveling is way too hard for casual players.Even if you understand and use the various combo, the ennemy is pushing way too fast and hard.I get stuck on the 4th level while my character is fully upgraded and I'm fully focused on the game.So very good for tryharder, not for people who'd like to progress peacefully without re-doing each level 10times..
